The first Raspberry Pi came onto the market ten years ago. Since then, over 40 million of the single board computer (SBC) have been sold worldwide. 

Sfera Labs was one of the first companies to recognize the opportunities offered by the Raspberry Pi products to make automation and control applications more open while reducing prototyping and deployment time. Initial developments focused on features that would allow industrial customers to quickly take advantage of the Raspberry Pi.
